A New Beginning...

你好, My Dear Friends -

Today I had to say good-bye to you. You cannot imagine how difficult this was for me as I have grown to love all of you in such a short period of time. But this is not the end of our friendship - in fact, it is a new beginning.

During the time that I was honored in being your teacher, I sent several observations of my journey to my family and friends in the United States. In these you can see how you have all shaped many of my views on life and the world. Now I have set-up this blog so that we can continue to share the learning that we began together this summer in Bijie. It will also enable us to continue this friendship that I treasure with all of you. You may Comment on any of the postings here, or if you have something new to share, please send it to me in an e-mail and I will post it to this site for our entire class to share.

I am beginning my travel now in returning to my American family, but once I arrive and again have Internet access, we can begin to share anew.
